General Laborer

DLP Staffing is currently accepting applications for the position of: POSITION TITLE: General Labor Location: New Braunfels, TX. FLSA: Non-exempt. Hire Pay: $15 per hour. Classification: Full-Time. JOB DESCRIPTION: As a General Labor Installer, you will be responsible for installing equipment both inside and outside. You must be able to work independently. JOB SUMMARY: A clear understanding of general construction for reading and interpreting installation prints, project plans, and specs. Skillfully use manual and powered hand tools for cutting, bending, forming, shaping, fitting, and assembling. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Under the direct supervision of the shop supervisor. Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions: Must not be afraid of heights. Must be able to deal with a physically demanding, high-stress environment. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, and handle objects with hands and/or fingers. Must be able to travel during the week for installations (when needed). Must be able to work up to 10 hrs. a day (when needed). Other duties as assigned. ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY: This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing.
