Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of AI to lead our AI initiatives, with a particular focus on project management and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, particularly within the e-commerce (D2c) and Shopify domains and has a deep passion for pets. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our AI-powered platform and ensuring its alignment with our company”s vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the team, ensuring the smooth execution of projects and workflows.
• Develop and implement automation workflows, leveraging tools like GenAI, and other AI frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, development, sales and marketing, to integrate AI features into our SaaS products.
• Design and execute AI solutions for the pet health and wellness industry, leveraging your understanding of the market and our target audience.
• Utilize tools such as Notion and Slack for efficient team communication and project tracking.
• Ensure projects adhere to Agile methodologies and are delivered on time with precision.
• Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in AI applications within the pet health and wellness sector.
• Showcase strong project management skills to manage stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and efficient collaboration.

Qualifications

• A total of 7+ years of experience, includingt least 4-5 years in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering e-commerce and Shopify projects.
• A minimum of 2 years in AI, specifically GenAI and related tools, demonstrating hands-on expertise in AI technologies.
• Prior experience working with US-based clients in the e-commerce industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of US work culture and client expectations.
• Prior experience working in an ecommerce startup and scaling a D2C brand from scratch

Skills:

• Proficiency in automation workflows, showcasing the ability to develop and implement efficient AI solutions. Experience with LangChain is good to have.
• Deep understanding of AI tools and technologies, with hands-on expertise in GenAI and other relevant frameworks.
• Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and project timelines effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret and execute complex tasks with minimal guidance.
• Experience with digital marketing
• Experience with product roadmap
• Experience with business strategy
• Experience with UI/UX, Figma, etc.
