Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen at East Surrey Hospital for a Nursing Assistant, interested in working in the Cardiac Catheter laboratory environment. The state-of-the-art lab opened in November 2004 and we have since then established an excellent service including Coronary Angioplasty, Coronary Angiography, Routine and Complex Pacing Device Implantation.

The shifts are worked with core hours between 08:00 and 18.00 Monday to Friday. However, work patterns may change in the future as the service requirements change.

The applicant is expected to be able to work across Cath lab, Day ward / Inpatient within the Angio Suiteas necessary. Lead aprons are worn for several hours at a time for certain procedures, and there is a certain amount of manual handling of patients, beds and trolleys.
