About the Role

As a People Operations Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership, helping to build and scale processes that support the full employee lifecycle. This position requires a proactive problem solver with a deep understanding of employee relations, HR compliance, and talent development. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and is eager to create solutions that enhance the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate reporting and use data-driven insights to inform People Operations strategies.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to people programs.
  • Lead new hire orientations and onboarding initiatives.
  • Support various People Ops and Benefits projects as needed.
  • Ensure employees receive necessary training and development to support career growth.
  • Collaborate with People team leadership to develop and refine processes related to talent acquisition, employee lifecycle, professional development, talent management, and onboarding IT processes.
  • Act as a resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on professional and managerial development.
  • Assist in the strategic evolution of benefits programs to maintain a competitive and innovative offering.
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of People programs, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Identify and implement efficient HR and benefits administration processes to enhance the employee experience.

What They’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in a People Operations or HR role.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including California.
  • Familiarity with global benefits best practices, particularly in the US, UK, and Canada.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Startup experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for program development and HR process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, HRIS, benefits administration, and ATS platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong working relationships.

Compensation

  • Salary Range (US): $87,000—$135,000 USD
  • The hiring company follows fair and equitable compensation practices, using San Francisco market data to establish pay ranges.
