Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Polisher to join our gift manufacturing team at Orbiz. The ideal candidate will be responsible for polishing and finishing a variety of gift items, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, experience with polishing tools, and the ability to work with different materials such as metal, wood, acrylic, and resin.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform polishing and buffing of gift items to achieve a smooth and shiny finish.
• Operate and maintain polishing machines, buffing wheels, and other finishing tools.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure high-quality finishing before packaging.
• Handle different materials like metal, plastic, wood, and resin safely and effectively.
• Follow company guidelines for product finishing, safety, and quality control.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the polishing work area.
• Coordinate with production and quality control teams to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Prior experience in polishing, buffing, or surface finishing (preferably in a manufacturing or production setup).
• Familiarity with different polishing techniques and materials.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and polishing compounds effectively.
• Good eye for detail and precision.
• Physically fit to handle manual work and extended periods of polishing.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the gift, jewelry, or handicraft industry is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of surface treatments like coating and plating.
