Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and passionate TGT Science Teacher to join our esteemed Podar International School in Udupi. This full-time, mid-level position requires a dynamic educator with 4 to 6 years of teaching experience to inspire and educate students. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in the subject of biology with relevant educational qualifications and be proficient in integrating technology into the learning environment.

Qualifications And Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.ed) with specialization in science affiliated subjects (Mandatory skill).
• Proven experience as a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) with expertise in science subjects, particularly biology (Mandatory skill).
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of teaching experience at the primary or secondary school level, showcasing a solid understanding of educational pedagogy.
• Effective Classroom Management skills to maintain a positive learning environment and address various student needs.
• Proficiency in Curriculum Development to create engaging and compliant lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Knowledge of Science Lab Safety Protocols to ensure a secure environment for conducting practical experiments and labs.
• Capability in Integration of Technology in Education to enhance learning through innovative digital tools.
• Skills in Differentiated Instruction to cater to diverse student abilities and foster inclusive learning experiences.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in science, with a particular focus on biology, to students in alignment with the school’s curriculum and standards.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that foster student understanding, creativity, and analytical skills in science subjects.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a respectful and supportive environment conducive to learning.
• Continuously assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide their academic improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols within the science lab during practical sessions and experiments.
