IT Technician Network & Hardware Support
Location: Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSIMSR), Muddenahalli, Chikkaballapur, Karnataka
Employment Type: Full-time | 6-day workweek
Salary: 25,000 per month
Qualification: Diploma/Bachelors in IT, Computer Science, or a related field

Key Responsibilities
1 Network & System Administration
Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity across the hospital and medical college.
Ensure secure and stable network performance by configuring routers, firewalls, and switches.
Monitor server performance, backups, and network security to prevent downtime.
Assist in email, user account, and database management.
2 Hardware & Software Support
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, and biometric devices.
Install, configure, and update software, operating systems, and hospital/academic applications.
Diagnose and repair hardware issues to minimize disruptions.
3 IT Security & Data Management
Ensure data protection and cybersecurity protocols are followed.
Maintain backup systems and troubleshoot data recovery issues.
Assist in implementing IT policies, antivirus protection, and access control measures.
4 User Training & Support
Respond to technical support requests from faculty, staff, and students.
Train hospital and college staff on basic IT troubleshooting and best practices.

Who Should Apply?
1-3 years of IT support experience, preferably in a hospital, academic, or corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi), hardware troubleshooting, and software installation.
Experience with Windows, Linux, or cloud-based systems.
Ability to handle technical issues independently and manage IT infrastructure efficiently.
Good communication skills to assist non-technical users with IT-related concerns.
