What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Conduct behavioral assessments to understand community behaviors and attitudes towards risk and resilience
• Develop programs and interventions based on behavioral science to promote community resilience
• Collect and analyze data on community behaviors to inform project planning and implementation
• Engage with community stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into interventions
• Provide training and educational resources on behavioral science principles for disaster risk reduction

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and clearable
• BA/BS degree in a related field (e.g., Behavioral Science, Psychology, Sociology)
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in behavioral science or program development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with data collection and analysis methods

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Relevant certifications in behavioral science or related fields
• Familiarity with online meeting platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom
• Experience in program development or community engagement initiatives
