Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Commissioning:
- Construction & execution of 66 kV lines, PSS, GSS and other renewable energy related project electrical works.
- Coordinate with contractors and ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project timelines.
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of installed systems to verify proper operation and compliance with standard electrical specifications.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including drawings, installation records, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.
- Co-ordination and Communication:
- Work closely with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and external/internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Participate in project meetings, provide technical input, and address any electrical engineering-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of [5-7] years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with 66 kV transmission lines or similar high-voltage systems.
- Experience with 66 KV EHV – PSS – GSS projects and knowledge of outdoor-indoor switchgear, Power transformer commissioning is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of electrical drawing and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention on day-to-day planning.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
