RCG is looking for a highly organised and proactive Recruitment Officer to join our team and drive our blue-collar hiring efforts within the mining sector. This is a full-time, hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home two days a week, providing you have a suitable ergonomic home office.

Reporting to the Onboarding & Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. You’ll be an integral part of a high-performing team, working closely with lead managers to identify top talent and contribute to the growth of Roberts Collins Group (RCG).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the Full Recruitment Lifecycle: Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a smooth, positive, and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Elevate the Candidate Experience: Collaborate with the HR Recruitment team to optimise recruitment processes, focusing on exceptional candidate care, positive hiring manager experiences, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maximise Brand Visibility: Coordinate and optimise job advertisements to ensure maximum visibility and effectively promote the RCG brand and our unique value proposition.
  • Streamline Screening & Onboarding: Conduct preliminary screenings, schedule interviews, and collect necessary documents, qualifications, and tickets to ensure a seamless and prompt hiring process for both hiring managers and candidates.
  • Guide Candidates Through Background Checks: Manage background checks, offering candidates support and guidance throughout the process.
  • Manage Offers & Onboarding: Coordinate contracts and offer letters, providing comprehensive support to candidates.
  • Nurture Talent Pipelines: Support the recruitment team in maintaining and nurturing candidate pipelines, including regular communication and up-to-date records management.
  • Contribute to Strategic HR Initiatives: Contribute to strategic programmes that support employer branding, employee value proposition, retention, and talent development initiatives.
  • Provide Administrative Support: Support the HR Team & Manager with administrative tasks, including purchase orders, invoice processing, reporting, employee referral management, and internal communications.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a similar Recruitment or Human Resources support role, ideally within the mining sector.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is desirable; familiarity with JobAdder is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality experiences.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a passion for achieving targets and making a significant impact.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritise multiple projects, responsibilities, and stakeholder needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
