We can help train the right candidate but must have at least one year driving experience. About the Job This job is essentially cross dock work from Bensenville to Broadview a few times a day. The hours will be 6am-2pm with some Saturday work. We never touch the freight inside but do sweep out the 53 -foot trailers. The average work week is 40-50 hours. We are a laid-back company that takes care of our drivers. Enough said. Job Summary Company Driver (W2, Solo) Power Only, Dry Van and Live Haul Local $1,200 – $1,700 total weekly avg. pay $25 – $28 per hour 300 – 600 avg. miles per week Dedicated Day shift No Driver Load/Unload No slip seating Home Time 5 days on, 2 days off Home every weekend Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K and 401K with company match Paid holidays Paid vacation Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure. Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports. Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
