Salary: £12.83 per hour
Start Date: Immediate/Easter 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Part-Time Can Be Arranged for the Right Candidate)

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Support Assistant to join a supportive school in Poole. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to helping students develop positive behaviour strategies and succeed both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students who require additional guidance with behaviour management.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a calm and structured learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour intervention plans.
- Support students with their social and emotional development.
- Encourage positive behaviour strategies and help students overcome challenges.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly in a behaviour support capacity.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with students.
- A patient, calm, and resilient approach to managing behaviour.
- Passionate about making a real impact in students’ lives.
- An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, with any gaps explained).
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
