Credential Specialist – REMOTE WORK

What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Perform credentialing tasks in support of senior credentialing specialists and MTF requests
• Gather credentialing information, conduct Primary Source Verification (PSV) of healthcare professionals’ credentials, and perform sanction checks
• Review credentialing applications and maintain current records in the CCQAS system
• Contact medical office staff and other agencies to obtain necessary credentials and verifications
• Respond to queries and requests for information, ensuring timely resolution

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Three (3) years of experience in medical credentialing, including one (1) year of knowledge of the credentialing and privileging process
• One (1) year of credentialing experience with the DoD utilizing CCQAS
• Must be a US Citizen
• Successful completion of a NACI background check
• Knowledge of government regulations, policies, and procedures related to credentialing

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Familiarity with standard software programs such as the Microsoft Office Professional Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience in auditing provider credentials applications for compliance
