What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Provide educational and support programs to enhance deployment readiness for service members and their families
  • Conduct outreach efforts targeting at-risk groups, including first-term service members and single parents
  • Deliver training and workshops on various topics related to military life and transition
  • Facilitate career decision-making and personal financial management for military families
  • Maintain accurate records of services delivered using the FFSMIS scheduling module

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Master’s degree in adult education, social science, or a related field, or six years of equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience managing and coordinating adult educational or social service programs
  • Proven ability to make presentations and facilitate training for groups
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with assessment and advocacy abilities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and the ability to collaborate with internal and external resources

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience working with family programs or military social service agencies
  • Knowledge of the FFSMIS system is desirable
  • Personal experience as a military family member, providing insight into military lifestyles
