Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, review, and organize legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with legal procedures.
- Coordinate meetings, hearings, and court dates, managing attorney schedules.
- Conduct legal research and assist in case preparation.
- Communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals in a professional manner.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal information with discretion.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in legal studies, paralegal certification, or equivalent experience.
- One or more years of experience in a legal support role (law firm or corporate legal department preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, case management software, and legal research tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal professionals.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with court procedures, legal terminology, and document formatting.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Experience interacting with clients professionally and maintaining confidentiality.
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in legal documents and correspondence.

Compensation
Salary range between $25.00 – $29.00 hourly may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on individual and the firm’s performance.
Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.
