Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver customized lessons through digital platforms to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
• Formulate, execute, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate with general education instructors to ensure students receive appropriate accommodations and modifications.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of student progress and documentation.
• Facilitate virtual meetings with parents, educators, and other stakeholders to discuss student development.
• Provide guidance to parents/guardians on effective strategies to support student learning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings to enhance your skills and stay informed of best practices.

Required Skills

• Proficient in utilizing online learning platforms and educational technology tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to cultivate robust relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing IEPs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
• Valid Special Education teaching license (Ohio endorsement).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an educational environment.
• Ability to work independently while remaining engaged with a collaborative team.
