Job Description

The Virtual Financial Coach is an on-demand financial advisor responsible for empowering NEXT clients to make informed decisions, overcome financial challenges, and achieve their short-term and long-term financial goals by introducing the bank’s various products and services.

Their primary responsibility is to build their clients’ financial literacy and provide them with the information they need in setting up and achieving their financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Virtually engages with a younger client base who are building savings and beginning to explore simple investments. Primary medium of communication will be through phone calls, video conferencing, or chat messaging
  • Educates clients on money matters such as savings, budgeting, wise spending, credit card usage, loans, insurance, investments, and retirement.
  • Effectively responds to financial inquiries, equipping clients with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions independently.
  • Discusses different products and solutions and turnover the clients to the right department for availment.
  • Engages with the NEXT client base virtually through video conferencing, phone calls, and messaging services.Effectively evaluates client profile and assess their financial wellness virtually.
  • Serves as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor, offering clients expert financial guidance on various concerns, including savings, money management, smart spending, loans, investments, trade, and retirement planning.
  • Tailors product bundling and financial solutions to align with the client’s profile and risk appetite, promoting the bank’s products and services only when appropriate or upon request.
  • Maximizes use of tools (Remote Desktop Services, Salesforce, Talkdesk, etc.) in spotting opportunities and uncovering needs during conversations.
  • Informs and empowers clients to utilize digital channels and select products and solutions that best meet their needs.
  • Prepares and submits reports promptly while tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliverables.
  • Provides comprehensive documentation of client calls and conversations.
  • Safeguards own passwords and access at all times.
  • Ensures upkeep of workstation and premises.
  • Adheres to security, data privacy, safety and health protocols.
  • Attends regular cadences, townhalls, sales clinics, and rollouts.
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree graduate in Economics / Business Management/ Marketing or related courses
  • At least 2 years experience in financial services industry, financial advisory or coaching, portfolio management, insurance/investment.
  • At least 1 year bank experience.
  • Possesses extensive experience in financial coaching, strong business acumen, and in-depth knowledge of financial markets and economic conditions. Demonstrates mastery of the Bank’s products and services, including its digital platforms, with expertise in customized product bundling.
  • Highly proficient in using digital platforms, channels, and gadgets.
