Responsibilities
The Prosthesis Supply Coordinator is responsible for inventory management including supplies, instrumentation, equipment, and prosthesis/implants to support patient care. Performs inventory control processes and communicates any variances to members of the perioperative team. Has responsibility to assure data integrity, performing quality assurance checks of patient billing information and other data sources.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED. Minimum of three years’ perioperative, surgical supply, sterile processing or experience working in role requiring attention to detail, quality assurance, data integrity, and investigation.
Additional Qualifications
Computer proficiency with a variety of software, including word processing, spread sheets, databases, or other applications. Vocational training in medical support field preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Exhibits strong customer service skills and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
