Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of QuickBooks payables, receivables, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
General Setup and Accounting Records:
- Create and maintain company data on QuickBooks Online. Understand the account and company setup steps and maintain a general knowledge of the major areas of the Quickbooks Online application.
- Export periodic backups of the company data on Quickbooks Online.
- Create and maintain records, including contact information, payment terms, and any other information required.
Transactions:
- Write checks in Quickbooks.
- Invoice clients. Upon approval, distribute invoices to clients via email.
- Manage bills received.
- Record bank transactions as needed. Download bank transactions into bank accounts
- Make journal entries as directed.
- Track QuickBooks transaction classes.
- Send timely inquiries to relevant company departments.
Reporting and Reconciliation:
- Track the cash balance and alert the owner with regular cash flow reports.
- Customize reports for the owner, outside accounting experts, government agencies, outside payroll services, and other interested parties.
- Reconcile bank accounts and perform account analysis on assets and liability accounts.
- Submit Profit and Loss (custom report) to the General Manager every 13th of the month.
Interfaces and Miscellaneous:
- Understand the capabilities of each level of Quickbooks Online.
- Understand the add-ons that work with Quickbooks Online, such as payroll, credit cards, and online banking. Be knowledgeable about what’s available.
- Stay briefed on Intuit updates and news that affect the Quickbooks Online application and accounting rules and requirements.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Bookkeeping experience
- Quickbooks Online experience
- Expertise in Journal Entries is a must.
- Spreadsheet Management Expert
- Bank Reconciliations and other Accounting Experience
- Adobe Acrobat Experience a Plus (pdf management)
- Accounting degree is a plus.
- Experience with Spreadsheet Sync
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is a plus
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Quiet home office work environment
- Willing to work on the graveyard shift
- Fast and reliable internet connection of at least 20MBPS with internet backup available
- Dependable electricity with power back-up available
- At least 8-gen i3 processors, 8GB RAM, and Windows or MAC, SSD Disc
