Overview

Ferncroft Country Club blends a rich heritage of golfing excellence with preeminent service in a family-friendly, first-class private club.

As a Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed championship course, Ferncroft has a storied history, most notably in hosting the LPGA Boston Five Classic from 1980-90 and co-hosting the 2024 New England PGA Section Championship.

Revitalizing one of Massachusetts’ Finest Private Country Clubs

In February 2006 new owner Affinity Management began revitalizing the Club in what was at the time called one of the top five club launches in the US. Affinity, and their management team have breathed new life into the club, a revitalization that seeks to place Ferncroft among the best private country clubs in Massachusetts for years to come. Ferncroft CC is independent of the nearby DoubleTree hotel (formerly the Sheraton) for the first time in decades, and all Club facilities are owned and operated by the Club. Ten million dollars in capital improvement over ten years of ownership culminated in a five million dollar clubhouse expansion completed in 2016. With this newly built space Ferncroft has become one of the North Shore’s premier event destinations.
