Key Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Control team in conducting visual and dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Assist in performing in-process inspections at various stages of production to identify and address any deviations from quality requirements.
- Aid in the utilization of precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to ensure product dimensions and tolerances meet specified criteria.
- Assist in conducting functional and performance tests on products to assess their reliability, functionality, and durability.
- Help maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and non-conformities detected for traceability and analysis purposes.
- Collaborate with production personnel to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Contribute to the enforcement of compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the revision and development of quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria as required.
- Support the investigation of customer complaints and quality-related issues, and assist in implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in quality control or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or quality control role is desirable.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles, techniques, and methodologies.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under the supervision of the Quality Control team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in conducting inspections and recording data.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with basic measuring instruments and testing equipment is an advantage.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
