Buildings Project Specialist (Maranello)

In order to strengthen our Technologies & Infrastructures Department we are looking to hire a Buildings Project Specialist based in Maranello (Italy).

You will be responsible for leading and coordinating our plant expansion and modernization projects. You will play a crucial role in the organization, you will manage and supervise projects activities, ensuring the each step of process, from planning to execution, respects the defined standards of quality, sustainability and budget.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

Project Planning 

• Definition of project scope, objectives and deliverables, in collaboration with stakeholders
• Development of detailed project plans, including timeline, resources required and budget.
• Identification, assessment and management of project risks, with development of effective mitigation plans.

Coordination and Supervision

• Coordination of the activities of all those involved in the project (architects, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors).
• Supervising the progress of the work, ensuring deadlines and timing, technical specifications and quality.
• Organizing and conducting regular update meetings with the project team and stakeholders.

Budget management

• Monitoring and controlling expenditure, ensuring that the project maintains budget forecasts.
• Managing budget variances and approving additional expenditure when necessary.

Quality and Compliance

• Ensuring compliance with local building regulations, environmental standards and corporate sustainability policies.
• Performing periodic quality checks to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
• Accurately managing project documentation, ensuring that it is complete, accurate and well organised.

Communication and Relations

• Maintain clear and transparent communication with all stakeholders, including internal teams.
• Manage relationships with internal teams (Technology)

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent. You should ideally have gained at least 3 years’ dedicated experience as Project Specialist in the building or industrial sector. Experience in budget management and in planning and managing construction sites  is required for the role. In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, strong communication skills and accountability are important skillset to manage activities and responsibility of the role. It is important to be proactive proposing new solutions to optimize all the processes and activities. Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage.
