Associate Vice President – Pre Construction
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Organize, manage, and lead multiple project preconstruction to meet monetization timelines.
- Lead and oversee all pre-construction activities from conception to the start of construction projects
- Manage various critical aspects of a project: scope, project schedules, estimates, quality, work plans, and resource plans, anticipating risks, market sentiments to get desired profitability. and adherence to timelines & schedules.
- Perform detailed Market Research and conduct Feasibility Studies, financial modeling, Scenario building and analysis, research evaluation, due diligence, and project viability. Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and provide solutions to meet deadlines and milestones.
- Preparation and tracking of master schedule, budget estimate and monitoring, resource allocation and deployment, design co-ordination and value engineering for implementing best operational practices.
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for Estimation, Tendering, Procurement, and Contracts to enhance the optimization of project resource requirements and their deployment.
- Supporting and providing cohesion and fostering collaboration amongst multiple departments pertaining to Clearances & Approvals, Master Planning, Design Management, Project Operations and Construction Management.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and resolve issues as they arise.
- Development of Management Dashboards, Preparation of presentation and MIS reports. Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Identifying and Mitigating risks Pre-Construction Phase & Under Construction stage, evaluate, and provide mitigation mechanism. Proactively highlighting critical risks and proposing recommendation/options to the management for the way forward.
Qualifications
B.E/B.Tech in Engineering
Masters in Engineering/ Business Administration
15+ Years of work experience in project management
