Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accurate collection of payroll incidences, including information regarding bonuses, commissions, leaves, vacations, promotions, salary changes, holidays, etc.
  • Process payroll data, including employee information, deductions, and payments. Calculate wages and withhold taxes
  • Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Verify payroll data for accuracy and compliance
  • Process off-cycle payments, retro deductions, and resolve payroll issues
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from team members and managers
  • Ensure the timely presentation of CCSS and INS monthly reports
  • Provide support and partner with the accounting team and payroll staff to secure correct and timely payroll payments, as well as maintain files, journals, and ledgers
  • Assist auditors with payroll information
  • Calculate termination payments of former employees
  • Conduct payroll audits
  • Coordinate year-end payroll processes
  • Process salary certifications, FCL and other letters
  • Participate in the implementation of projects or solutions, in coordination with the HR Country Manager and the Global HR Services Department, that will help automate and improve the payroll process
  • Support the creation of new hires in D365
  • Reconcile the vacation balances of D365 and Softland
  • Perform other additionally assigned tasks, within the competences of the position

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
  • 2 years of experience in payroll processes
  • Strong understanding of MS Office tools, advanced level of Excel is a must
  • Demonstrated experience in Softland
  • Knowledge of the applicable labor legislation and practices
  • Detail-focused and well-organized
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Able to spot trends and insights from data analysis
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and oral
