HR Executive – Talent Acquisition & People Operations

Job Description

We are a Singapore-based software consulting firm looking for an adaptable and driven HR Executive to join our Bandung office. In this role, you will play a key role in driving talent acquisition in Indonesia while also managing People and Operations and Operations. You should be able to learn quickly and work independently – we’ll help you as best as we can, but you must be tenacious and resourceful enough to figure out things you don’t know how to do.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, is eager to build and form HR initiatives, navigate change, and see their efforts manifest into real impact. Beyond recruitment, this role presents an opportunity to expand into broader internal HR responsibilities, contributing to employee engagement, workplace culture, and operational HR functions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for software engineering and other roles.
  • Build talent pipelines and close roles based on evolving recruitment needs, improving recruitment strategies based on statistics.
  • Source top talent beyond LinkedIn, leveraging headhunting and networking for software engineering and other technical roles.
  • Build and maintain relationships with top engineering universities in Indonesia to maintain a strong hiring funnel and recruit interns and fresh graduates.
  • Organize and participate in recruitment events, hackathons, and other talent engagement initiatives in Bandung.

People Engagement and Operations

  • Act as a friendly and approachable HR representative in the Bandung office, ensuring a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Organize team engagement activities to foster a strong company culture.
  • Manage office operations and administration, including office supplies, facility management, and basic office IT operations.
  • Perform employee onboarding and support retention efforts, ensuring new hires integrate smoothly into the company.
  • Expand into broader HR & Operation functions and work on initiatives that enhance employee experience, employer branding, and HR processes.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Science, Human Resource Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant talent acquisition experience in the IT industry.
  • Proven work experience in building a talent pipeline with strong headhunting skills to close difficult technical roles, preferably beyond LinkedIn Headhunting.
  • Prior experience delivering and pushing projects to completion independently (not necessarily in HR but ideally HR-related).
  • Personable, friendly, and highly engaging—you’ll be the go-to HR person in the Bandung office.
  • Comfortable with physical office presence (at least 2-3 times per week) and enjoys face-to-face engagement. Based in or willing to relocate to Bandung.
  • Excellent English communication and writing skills.
  • Can-do and strong learning spirit—ready to build, navigate changes, and grow in a startup-to-mid-level environment.
  • Willing to take on various aspects of HR—we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow into a well-rounded HR professional.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in startups, tech companies, or working in small teams.
  • A track record of initiating and improving HR processes.
  • Prior experience using a data-driven approach to optimize HR processes (Excel, statistics, or data analytics skills are a plus).
