Job Responsibilities

  • promotional events, cost management, capital expenditures, and guest satisfaction.
  • Promote cross-selling techniques and carry out competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with outlet managers, assistant F&B director, and the general manager in decision-making processes when needed.
  • Focus on reducing operational costs by implementing waste management strategies, optimizing resource utilization, and minimizing breakage of cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
  • Review and optimize menu pricing, portion sizes, restaurant layouts, and equipment use to ensure cost control and profit maximization.
  • Cultivate relationships with guests, encourage repeat clientele by maintaining high-quality food and service, and develop promotional events to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Lead efforts to improve efficiency and service levels by encouraging innovation in the department’s processes and offerings.
  • Oversee PR activities to promote the hotel’s food and beverage offerings, keeping media informed about promotions, menu changes, and other innovations to build a strong market image.
  • Work with the banquets and sales team to create competitive banquet and conference packages, determining pricing based on market analysis.
  • Oversee all banquet proceedings, from contract finalization to event execution, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Review and evaluate the performance of outlet heads and staff, conducting appraisals, setting key result areas (KRAs), and leading performance discussions in line with company standards.
  • Handle HR functions, including conducting interviews, making recommendations for staff movements/transfers, and fostering career development within the team.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits and ensure compliance with organizational standards such as TPAM, LQA, HACCP, and other relevant audits. Take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Take on any other tasks as assigned by management within the scope of the role.
