Role Purpose

The role is responsible to monitor, maintain computer systems (desktop/laptop), installs and configures hardware & software application which includes operating system or certified third-party application to support end-user in resolving technical queries/issues in a timely manner and providing technical recommendations. Furthermore, the role performs user administrative responsibilities efficiently and analysis of required systems to resolve simple and complex tasks/ issues.

What You Will Be Doing

• Configure, install and update desktops, laptops and peripherals like printer, scanner, projector etc. based on user service requests, computer upgrade program or as otherwise assigned.
• Respond to client issues with systems, applications, hardware, and take corrective actions.
• Provide both telephone and desk-side first level support and second level of diagnosing network related issues while escalating advanced issues to IT Network team as required.
• Performing deep steps of diagnosis and analysis on all levels (hardware, software, peripherals, &network) to conclude the optimal way to resolve issues.
• Perform desktop application installations, upgrades, and other support and maintenance activities.
• Provide operating and administration functions including user set up, configuration and management for systems and business applications which include creation/ termination of network/exchange, rights/permission of network, creation/ rights/ group permission for business application and file directories

What We Are Looking For

• Diploma in IT-related fields, preferably with a diploma in Computer Science.
• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in relevant field (for support analyst)
• Min 5 years of experience in relevant field (for senior support analyst)
• In-depth knowledge of hardware and software and high level of problem/issue analytical skills.
• Effective communication, interpersonal skills and timely decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and local language as indicated.
