Responsibilities

  • Work with mentor software engineers to gain hands-on experience in the development and test of a Microsoft Azure cloud-based application
  • Utilize Azure DevOps tools to design, develop, deploy, and test the cloud application
  • Troubleshoot and determine root cause and resolution for application defects
  • Perform unit, performance, and system integration testing of the cloud application, as well as utilize automation tools
  • Collaborate using the Agile Scrum software development methodology
  • Participate in the peer inspection process
  • Use software version control tools and manage code

General Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply relevant new technologies, tools, methods, and processes into assigned work
  • Seeks feedback and applies suggested best practices to solutions
  • Good communication skills and team player with people from different cultures and backgrounds
  • Demonstrates skill in time management and completing projects in a cooperative team environment
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of web-based applications, cloud technologies and source code management such as GIT
  • Familiarity and strength in any of the following programming languages: C#, Angular, JavaScript
  • Preferred experience with .NET Framework and Microsoft Azure platform
