Long story short, you will

be providing legal advice on contractual issues and assist in negotiating commercial deals, drafting legal documentation and ensuring fit-for-purpose, risk-adjusted contracts and templates to support all key relationships. As a Legal Counsel, your primary responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Legal.

We are looking for a ‘hands-on’ lawyer who is energetic and personally engaged in the delivery of advice to different stakeholders and colleagues across the business.

This exciting opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement with occasional travel required.

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including B2B reseller, game provider, PSP, marketing, affiliation, employment, and supplier agreements.
  • Provide legal guidance on corporate and commercial matters, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage corporate structuring, governance, and financing transactions, including drafting agreements and board resolutions.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring, conducting due diligence and drafting transaction documents.
  • Oversee corporate housekeeping, including company incorporation, filings, and governance.
  • Liaise with external legal advisors, regulatory authorities, and consultants.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments, advising the business on compliance risks.
  • Assist with risk management, dispute resolution, and contract monitoring.
  • Keep up with legal trends in multiple industries and jurisdictions.
  • Handle diverse legal matters, including property, employment, data protection, IP, and marketing regulations.
  • Prepare reports for the Head of Legal.
  • Occasional travel to overseas offices as required.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise :

  • Min. 5 years experience as a Legal Counsel; including at least 3 years’ experience in the iGaming industry or a related regulated industry.
  • Experience with agreement drafting, review and negotiation.
  • Experience with regulatory updates and research.
  • Advanced level of spoken and written English – proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in using Jira, Goggle Suite and MS applications.
  • Proactive, having attention to detail.
  • Business-oriented and having a systematic, cooperative and collaborative approach.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Core areas of expertise: commercial law; intellectual property, corporate law
  • Additional expertise: employment law.
