We’re hiring a Director of Project Management to join our Innovations Team.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Foster a collaborative and high performing PMO culture, providing leadership and guidance to project managers, offering support, coaching and mentorship.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive PMO framework that supports project intake, prioritization, and oversight. Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning to optimize project delivery and address skill gaps.
  • Define and implement best practices, reporting structures and meeting cadences to ensure efficient operations and transparency.
  • Provide leadership with the information needed to assess and decide which proposals have the highest potential value, impact and ensure strategic alignment.
  • Develop and produce strategic reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to aid decision-making, ensure clear visibility into project risks and dependencies.

Project Management Execution

  • Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring and control, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards.
    • Monitor progress, budgets and project roadmaps, mitigate risks and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead cross-functional teams using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies, depending on the project need.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira and Microsoft Suite (including Project, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint) to manage project tracking, reporting and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain key project governance documentation, aligning with vendor management and risk, to ensure compliance with established project management policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for meeting audit and regulatory expectations and responding to relevant audit inquiries.

Change Management

  • Champion change management principles to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems and tools.
  • Develop and execute communication plans to support organization readiness and stakeholder alignment.

Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or related field

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required

Agile certification (e.g. Certified ScrumMaster or PMI-ACP) is preferred

8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Proven experience managing Salesforce-related projects and implementations, technology-heavy initiatives and driving change management efforts

Expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Demonstrated proficiency with Jira and the Microsoft Suite of products

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, clear communication and the ability to build consensus across teams and with stakeholders

Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and capacity planning

Wage Range:

The salary for this position ranges from $100k+
