You will serve as an Engineering Technician (Aerospace) in the FST Engineering Division of FLTREADCEN EAST. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will perform maintenance and design engineering tasks on a variety of aircraft structures and systems.
- You will plan and conduct work for which precedent data, criteria, methods or techniques are inadequate
- You will provide aircraft engineering services in support of troubleshooting, rework, repair, maintenance, inspection, and modification/redesign of aircraft structures, systems, and components.
- You will coordinate material or hardware substitutions with engineers and metallurgists.
- You will investigate and resolve complex technical problems related to the rework and repair of aircraft discrepancies and malfunctions and unprecedented service difficulties.
