Job Description
What you’ll do:
This is your opportunity to get your hands dirty and build the tools that power our rapidly changing business.
- Conduct scientific evaluation using statistical methods, including A/B testing and inference.
- Turn rich datasets into actionable insights, and work closely with business stakeholders as these are operationalised.
- Work with other stakeholders to perform deep-dives into broader questions affecting the business, such as long-term revenue trends.
- Help build machine learning models as we increase the personalisation of the product to maximise customer revenue.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
This hands-on opportunity will suit a data scientist who can program in Python and has a solid grasp of statistics.
- Proven experience in a data science role or similar.
- Demonstrated expertise in converting rigorous data analyses into practical domain-specific knowledge to support business decision-making.
- Experience in Python including notebook experience (Jupyter) is essential. More extensive experience is highly desirable.
- Tertiary degree in statistics, econometrics, or similar quantitative discipline a bonus.
