We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our IHOP group at the D. E. Shaw India office based in Bengaluru/Hyderabad. IHOP supports Global Recruitment and Core HR teams, across multiple geographies, on critical and data-intensive tasks by delivering high-quality work products.

There are four key offerings that make up IHOP’s portfolio:

Sourcing Projects: Identify accomplished candidates for wide array of technical and non-technical positions by utilizing advanced internet searching techniques and creating and maintaining accurate candidate records. Provide reporting and analytics support to Recruiters on sourcing strategies to aid decision making.

Automation: Support maintenance of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provide administrative and strategic support for recruitment-related applications and workflow.

Human Capital Operations: Enable complex operations that support our global HR functions, such as new hire onboarding, background checks and benefits.

Structured Interviewing: Support the firm-wide initiative to research and reduce unconscious bias while hiring candidates.

WHAT YOU’LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:

You will support the Global Recruitment team in identifying accomplished candidates for finance and technical positions by creating and maintaining accurate candidate records. Additionally, you will assist with the maintenance of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provide administrative support for recruitment-related applications and workflows. You will also be involved in various complex operations that support global HR functions, such as structured interviewing, background checks, new hire onboarding, and benefits. Furthermore, you will support the team on critical and time-sensitive recurring tasks that are data-intensive in nature, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work products.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • The ideal candidate should be a final year student from a three-year undergraduate program from any discipline with no current backlogs.
  • They should be self-motivated, have keen analytical and problem-solving skills, be a quick learner, exhibit keen attention to detail, and excel while working under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills along with deft interpersonal skills are essential.
