Position Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst position will play an important role in the company’s growth by proactively partnering with business leaders to drive the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting & analysis processes. You will be asked to provide financial insights on key strategic decisions and act as a thought partner to support resource allocation decisions and drive corporate growth and profitability. Join our dynamic team in a remote capacity, but please note our core operating hours align with Pacific Standard Time (PST). Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth financial analysis of company performance, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling. Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to assist management in making informed decisions to drive growth and profitability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and insights for strategic planning and decision-making. Identify key financial metrics and KPIs to track and evaluate business performance. Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning including a quarterly rolling forecast. Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders. Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department. Use best practices, automation, and new technologies to help the finance department scale as the organization grows. Qualifications: Experience : Three to five years in Financial Planning and Analysis or a similar role. Education : Bachelor’s degree: Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus. Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across a fast-paced, dynamic company. Proven experience in FP&A or similar role, preferably in a corporate finance or investment banking environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy or initiatives into financial models and/or in-depth analysis. Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, financial software, and ERP systems. Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus. Demonstration of innovation and initiative – always looking at improving our systems and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help wherever necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting deadlines. Experience within a start-up environment and an understanding of the healthcare industry (e.g., revenue and reimbursement models), specifically providers and health plans, is preferred. Compensation & benefits $100,000-$115,000, annually: Pay for this position will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to: your prior experience and skills related to the position, geographic location, company needs, and current market demands.
