IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

You will serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Research & Development Group, Spectrum Warfare Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will develop and maintain an organizational information system-level cybersecurity program that identifies IT architecture, cybersecurity /IT requirements, cybersecurity /IT objectives and policies, and cybersecurity processes and procedures.
• You will ensure that information ownership responsibilities are established for each DoD information system (IS), to include accountability, access approvals, and special handling requirements.
• You will ensure the development and maintenance of cybersecurity authorization documentation by creating, reviewing, and endorsing such documentation, and making a recommendation to the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
• You will maintain a repository for all cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization documentation and modifications within their assigned organization.
• You will ensure that all Privileged Users receive the necessary technical and cybersecurity training, education, and certification to carry out their cybersecurity/IT duties.
