Key Responsibilities
- Coach and Lead: Train and actively participate in closing techniques, driving team profitability.
- Showroom Leadership: Oversee all showroom activities and maintain expert product knowledge.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high satisfaction scores and analyze metrics for continuous improvement.
- Team Management: Hire, motivate, and monitor the performance of sales teams, including Internet Sales, Finance Managers, and Service Drive Sales.
- Training: Conduct daily and weekly sales training meetings for Sales and Product Specialists.
- Mentorship: Guide new and experienced sales reps on best practices for performance enhancement.
- CRM Management: Develop, implement, and monitor a CRM system for proper follow-up with prospective buyers.
- Delivery Procedures: Establish and monitor delivery procedures, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Goal Achievement: Meet forecasted goals for dealership and OEM sales, gross, and key expenses.
- F&I Support: Provide backup and coverage for F&I as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of Sales Manager experience with full responsibility for a successful dealership’s variable operations.
- Proven history of building and training a sales team, with strong CSI scores and above-average departmental profits.
- Previous F&I experience.
- Strong background in building showroom and internet traffic, SEO and SEM, direct mail, and traditional media.
- Experience in Used Vehicle purchasing, merchandising, and marketing.
- Expertise in supervising desk managers and improving F&I income through mentorship and training.
