Department Overview:
The Office of the Registrar is the hub of the University. We provide assistance with transcripts, registration and course scheduling, transfer credit and graduation evaluation, determination of Idaho residency for tuition, and catalog information.
Level Scope:
Applies skills and job knowledge in area of specialization; may adapt procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet needs of area of specialization; may work on non-routine tasks; resolves issues/makes working decisions within area of specialization or responsibility with minimal supervision.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as the primary scheduler for all ad hoc events in classroom spaces. Ad hoc events include academic meetings, class review sessions, tutorial sessions, workshops, conferences, and student organization meetings/activities.
- Maintain responsibility for management of the Classroom Space Request form and email account.
- Support the academic schedule development cycle, under direction of the Manager of Academic Class Scheduling.
- Participate in both review 1 and review 2 of a scheduling cycle to ensure departmentssubmitted schedules that adhere to university policy. This includes: reviewing classes for standard meeting pattern policy, determining contact hours meet credit requirements, ensuring class setup matches approved curriculum, guaranteeing lecture/lab/discussion setup is correct, verifying that notes to students meet university standards, and resolving incorrect space assignments made by academic departments.
- Support ongoing schedule change requests and new workshop setup.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: monitoring record systems to identify and correct errors; interpreting, explaining, and applying laws, regulations, and complex policies for multiple or highly specialized programs; analyzing information and researching a variety of sources to identify and resolve problems or issues; dealing with individuals from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds in stressful situations; entering and retrieving data using a computerized record system; composing and proofreading business correspondence.
Salary and Benefits:
$19.04 per hour ($39,603.20 annually). Boise State University provides a best-in-class benefits package , including (but not limited to):
