DESCRIPTIONFlexSchool is seeking an experienced Elementary School Teacher, preferably with expertise in special education, particularly working with the twice-exceptional (2e) population. The ideal candidate will be passionate about nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of gifted and 2e elementary students in a supportive and inclusive classroom setting.ResponsibilitiesDeliver an engaging and differentiated curriculum tailored to the individual needs of gifted and 2e students.Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity, and social-emotional growth.Utilize innovative teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and acceptance where all students feel valued and supported.The salary range for this position is $45,000-$60,000.POSITION REQUIREMENTSPreferences:Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred).Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in elementary education, with a focus on special education and/or gifted education.Experience working with twice-exceptional (2e) studentsStrong understanding of best practices in special education and differentiated instruction.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and specialists.Commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students.FULL-TIME/PART-TIMEFull-TimePOSITIONElementary TeacherEXEMPT/NON-EXEMPTExempt THIS POSITION IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS.
