Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. The Financial Analyst will work closely with senior management to develop and monitor financial goals, budgets, and forecasts, as well as analyze financial performance.

Key Responsibilit ies:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for real estate investments, acquisitions, and development projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and scenario analyses to assess potential risks and returns on investments.
  • Analyze cash flow projections, IRR (Internal Rate of Return), NPV (Net Present Value), and ROI (Return on Investment) to support strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate market trends, property values, and industry benchmarks to identify profitable opportunities.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for real estate portfolios.
  • Prepare detailed investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for senior management and investors.
  • Support the due diligence process for acquisitions, sales, and joint ventures, including reviewing legal documents and financial statements.
  • Monitor capital expenditures, leasing performance, operating costs, and property valuations to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, and operations) to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assess real estate debt and equity financing options, working closely with lenders and investment partners.
  • Develop and implement real estate investment strategies, optimizing asset performance and maximizing returns.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to real estate projects, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
  • Support negotiation efforts for purchase agreements, lease terms, and joint venture structures.
  • Track macroeconomic and real estate industry trends, providing insights on potential market fluctuations and their impact on investments.
  • Assist in the structuring of real estate funds and REITs, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in real estate investment, development, or asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment strategies.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling (Excel), real estate software (ARGUS, Yardi, CoStar, or similar), and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CFA, CPA, or a related financial certification.
  • Experience with real estate portfolio management, risk assessment, and financing structures.
