Lead Community Manager

Job Description

Taonga is a farm adventure game set on a tropical archipelago. First launched as a browser game in 2016, it quickly became a worldwide success, beloved by players across the globe.

We are looking for an experienced Community Team Lead to join our team — not only to maintain existing processes but also to drive the growth of our community and strengthen the team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring high-quality communication between the community team and players
  • Creating and coordinating engaging content, including announcements, events, newsletters, and educational materials
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of various player engagement formats
  • Managing the community team and conducting regular performance reviews
  • Driving community growth by identifying and implementing new opportunities
  • Maintaining and improving community management guidelines
  • Managing crisis situations within the team and player community
  • Preparing reports on player feedback and team performance
  • Collaborating closely with support, QA, the art team, and game designers
  • Monitoring industry trends and implementing best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in community management within the gaming industry
  • 1+ year of experience leading a team
  • English proficiency at C1 (Advanced) level
  • Ability to make well-reasoned decisions under pressure
  • A passionate gamer with deep industry knowledge and active engagement in gaming communities.

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and experience by completing a test assignment.
