Job Description
About Our Client
The business landscape is changing fast. This organization is a media outlet and conference series that helps companies navigate this change in ways that prioritize people.
Since its inception in 2018, the organization has reached over 150,000 attendees, hosted more than a thousand speakers, and produced conferences in over 20 major U.S. cities and counting. A unique, cross-disciplinary approach is taken, convening leaders in CSR, HR, marketing, and communications, along with civic leaders, authors, and journalists, to share business strategies that benefit workers, customers, and communities.
The organization also publishes reporting and opinion pieces by a network of notable journalists, led by the editor in chief, a veteran journalist.
Our client seeks individuals who exhibit a high degree of self-motivation and the potential to grow into active leaders. Team members like these are often called “drivers.” If a candidate considers themselves a passenger, this organization may not be the right fit.
As candidates apply, they should consider whether the following attributes resonate with them:
– They motivate and energize colleagues rather than waiting for inspiration.
– They are relentlessly resourceful and take ownership rather than seeking excuses.
– They consistently seek to deliver great outcomes and work towards improving processes.
– They are excited about their work and bring urgency to their mission.
– They approach challenges with enthusiasm and optimism.
