Our NHS Professionals Academy provides high-quality, cost-effective education and training solutions for NHS Trusts and Integrated Care Systems.

We’re looking for a National Training Lead to design, implement, and oversee high-quality, standardised training programs across the NHS Professionals Academy. If you have a strong clinical background and experience in education or training which is essential, this is your opportunity to make a national impact

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and develop training programmes that enhance clinical skills and professional development
  • Ensure training aligns with NHS priorities, regulations, and best practices
  • Drive innovation through modern learning methods and horizon scanning for emerging trends
  • Collaborate with clinical experts and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality education
  • Support and mentor a team, promoting consistency and excellence across NHS sites.

Location: Nationwide – Candidates must also be prepared for national travel as & when required to deliver training on client sites.

Hours: 37.5 – Monday to Friday

13th March and 17th March.

Additional interview dates may be scheduled, if further shortlisting is required on 26th March and 27th March.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following skills;

  • Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training effectively
  • Background in education, training, and workforce development
  • Training qualification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in education and training
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong people development and continuous improvement mindset
  • Database knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience in OTLA or QA teaching observations for internal and external trainers
  • Ability to work supportively as part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills, using data to drive decisions
