Sanoma Learning’s Kampus development focuses on creating a cloud-native platform for secondary education. The platform is used by tens of thousands of teachers and students on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
As a Manual Tester, you will focus on the following activities:
- Understand features and plan test strategies.
- Participate in feature requirement planning.
- Identify which stories require testing (e.g., Infrastructure vs. Development tasks).
- Prepare and manage test data.
- Investigate, document, and report issues.
- Suggest UI/UX improvements.
- Plan and execute manual tests, including regression and smoke testing.
- Conduct release testing and manage release-related tasks (e.g., creating release testing pages).
- Perform smoke testing in preview and production environments.
- Communicate testing status, open issues, and key updates to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve QA processes and best practices.
Requirements
Must-have requirements:
- Manual testing experience: 3+ years of proven experience.
- Agile methodologies: Experience working with Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks.
- QA methodologies: Strong understanding of testing principles and best practices.
- Detail-oriented mindset: Ability to identify and report issues accurately.
- Documentation skills: Ability to create clear and detailed bug reports, test plans, and other QA documentation.
- Team collaboration: Ability to work effectively in an international team with a positive attitude.
- Self-management: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Language skills:
- English: B2/C1 (strong communication and documentation skills).
- Spanish: B1/B2 (written and spoken communication).
Nice-to-have requirements:
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence).
- Knowledge of accessibility testing and related tools.
- Basic programming knowledge in any language.
