Sanoma Learning’s Kampus development focuses on creating a cloud-native platform for secondary education. The platform is used by tens of thousands of teachers and students on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

As a Manual Tester, you will focus on the following activities:

• Understand features and plan test strategies.
• Participate in feature requirement planning.
• Identify which stories require testing (e.g., Infrastructure vs. Development tasks).
• Prepare and manage test data.
• Investigate, document, and report issues.
• Suggest UI/UX improvements.
• Plan and execute manual tests, including regression and smoke testing.
• Conduct release testing and manage release-related tasks (e.g., creating release testing pages).
• Perform smoke testing in preview and production environments.
• Communicate testing status, open issues, and key updates to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve QA processes and best practices.

Requirements

Must-have requirements:

• Manual testing experience: 3+ years of proven experience.
• Agile methodologies: Experience working with Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks.
• QA methodologies: Strong understanding of testing principles and best practices.
• Detail-oriented mindset: Ability to identify and report issues accurately.
• Documentation skills: Ability to create clear and detailed bug reports, test plans, and other QA documentation.
• Team collaboration: Ability to work effectively in an international team with a positive attitude.
• Self-management: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Language skills:
• English: B2/C1 (strong communication and documentation skills).
• Spanish: B1/B2 (written and spoken communication).

Nice-to-have requirements:

• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence).
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and related tools.
• Basic programming knowledge in any language.
