Job Description
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the movement of materials between departments
- Creating records of materials’ movements in the company
- Negotiating with vendors
- Carrying out safety checks
- Ensuring operations follow company and industry regulations
- Ordering materials
- Scheduling shipments of products
- Estimating freight costs
- Tracking inventory with handheld scanners
- Ensuring availability and controlling use of space, material handling equipment, and required spare parts
- Establishing fire prevention and safety standards, and ensuring compliance
- Determining requirements for storage, including those for classified, sensitive, radioactive, hazardous, mobility readiness spares packages and flammable property
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & gas industry
