  • Lead the coordination of banquet events from inception to completion, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Meet with clients to understand event requirements, themes, and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the operations, culinary, and sales teams to align all aspects of event delivery, including food, beverages, setup, and special requests.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and last-minute requests.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event organizers, ensuring consistent and clear communication.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the event, anticipating and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Supervise a team of banquet staff, ensuring high standards of service and presentation.
  • Assign roles and tasks to team members based on event requirements.
  • Provide training and support to banquet staff on service standards and operational procedures.
  • Oversee event setup, including the arrangement of tables, seating, décor, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient transition between different events, minimizing downtime.
  • Coordinate the timely and proper execution of meal services, breaks, and entertainment.
  • Assist in managing event budgets by maintaining control over the event’s expenses, ensuring profitability.
  • Track inventory for banquet supplies and ensure proper stock levels for upcoming events.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure billing is accurate and sent in a timely manner post-event.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of banquet facilities.
  • Monitor service quality and guest experience to ensure events meet Della’s high hospitality standards.
  • Handle any client complaints or challenges professionally, providing solutions promptly.
  • Assist in promoting Della’s banquet services to potential clients through collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
  • Help in customizing packages for clients to enhance sales and meet specific client needs.

Job Expectations

  • Must be able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations including the ability to handle guest complaints and disputes and resolve them to satisfactory results.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations and preparation is required.
  • Excellent communication and guest relation skills in English.
  • The ability to work well with a large group of people in a team environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.
  • Should have knowledge of business management principles and practices, accounting procedures, cost control procedures and relevant computer softwares.

Minimum Qualification

Graduation/ Diploma in Hotel Management is preferred.

Minimum Job Experience

Should have 3-4 years of Experience in similar job profile.
