Duties

  • Successful management of safeguarding service processes and delivering correct support and guidance as required.
  • Lead provision of targeted interventions and pastoral support for learners with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Lead and manage the processes and record keeping associated with Looked After Young People and Care Leavers
  • Oversee the inclusion of Care Experienced students and manage their support and development

Skills/Experience

  • Effective knowledge of Safeguarding processes and procedures
  • Significant experience of supporting children and vulnerable adults, particularly those identified within the CLA and Care Leaver categories
  • Significant experience of working with external agencies, including both statutory and voluntary.

Qualifications

  • Psychology/education qualification and or experience within the safeguarding/wellbeing arena.
  • Mental Health Qualification
  • Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English and Maths or equivalent
