Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore, Singapore. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing various infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.

• Develop and review civil engineering designs e.g. traffic and road designs for a wide range of infrastructure projects
• Conduct site investigations and analyze data to inform project designs and solutions
• Prepare detailed project plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers
• Ensure project compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
• Perform structural analyses and calculations to ensure the safety and integrity of designs
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for engineering projects
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Stay updated on industry trends, innovative technologies, and best practices in civil engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects e.g. roads, traffic, utilities design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• In-depth knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Singapore
• Expertise in civil engineering design principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and innovative approaches in civil engineering
