Job Description

• Effectively manage Manufacturing Operations ensuring safe operation, product quality, integrity of materials, productivity, inventory accuracy and operation cost control
• Lead manufacturing and operation of automated lines and lead Vertical Startup for the Greenfield Project and play a significant role in coaching/developing the shop floor associates
• Implement Safety related protocols and procedures to achieve site target of Zero incidents
• Follow quality procedures laid down by company to ensure first-time-right quality mindset
• Responsible for the coaching and training of associates to turn it into a high performing team, equipped with right problem-solving techniques
• Driving versatility matrix for multi-skilling of associates and design their career path
• Ownership of manufacturing deliverables, including high equipment availability
• Champion “My equipment, My responsibility” mindset
• Understands schedules, products, materials, product quality requirements, to manage lines performance and KPIs
• Manage manufacturing process and procedure to ensure quality and good manufacturing practices, including 5S and other operational excellence initiatives
• Experience of working in a highly automated manufacturing environment
• RCA, CAPA and redressal of Customer Complaints
• Be responsible for the planning production capacity & productivity

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor’s degree or above; preferably in Mechanical or Electronics & Instrumentation with 10-15 years of experience in production and maintenance, at least 5+ years of management experience in Food or Pharmaceutical industry preferably in Gujarat itself
• Proficiency in SAP PP and PE module & Automation + Mechanical troubleshooting + Food safety requirements
• The manager is expected to be a good team player and collaborate well with other functions like QSE, Warehouse, Planning etc
