Head of Operations

Job Purpose:

Completely responsible for efficient operations of the department in order to achieve quality, productivity, production and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee production operations to meet quality, productivity, and financial targets.
• Develop and implement manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering policies, including Lean principles.
• Ensure product quality assurance and compliance with customer requirements.
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Manage inventory, production planning, and operational coordination across departments.
• Lead and develop staff, including training, appraisals, and motivation.
• Oversee Navision system operations for production and inventory management.
• Maintain machines, jigs, and plant equipment to ensure optimal efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 10-15 years in production, with 10 years in distribution transformers manufacturing
• Knowledge of LEAN/MOST productivity processes
• Strong man-management & leadership skills
• Experience with ERP systems
• Basic awareness of transformer design
