What You Will Do

Currently, we are looking for the position of Business Team Lead. In general, you will be helping to support company’s sales, marketing, and product development efforts. Take a look at some points below to understand more about this role.

  • Handle inbound and outbound leads
  • Search for potential new leads to be clients through email, call, event, social media especially LinkedIn and business networks
  • Comfortable in doing aggressive outbound reach including cold calling
  • Pitch and negotiate with clients
  • Prepare business proposals
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure client’s needs are met
  • Know intimately the details on clients journey end-to-end from outbound to onboarding class to class completion and maintaining leads
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Update and maintain client’s database
  • Help provide general administrative support if required

Requirements And Specifications

In order to carry out the obligations well, we need someone who has specific knowledge and abilities in a specific area. To make it easier, there are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in business development with proven track records.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Experience in edutech company, especially Jakarta-based startups. A good business network.
  • Strong communication skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Interest in creating social impact through Indonesia’s education.
  • A good and effective communicator.
  • Self-motivated, internally motivated to excel in the role.
  • Resilient, can bounce back from disappointments and stay motivated
